Hello. In respect to the IEC; is there a minimum coverage requirement?

No, not for IEC. However, it is highly recommended to get a comprehensive insurance package to cover any unexpected medical costs while in Canada since it could be pretty expensive just to see a doctor being uninsured, not to mention real emergency. Usually our clients get $50,000 or $100,000 worth of coverage.
As for the $50,000, it is almost the same price as for $25,000.
So it is better to have twice as much coverage for a moderate price.
I can also help you get a free quote so that you will have an idea of IEC medical insurance.
