Looking for a job in Canada

I submitted my CV to over 50 companies in Canada because I am looking for a job. I have not heard anything back from a single one and its been a few weeks since I sent everything. I'm feeling really stressed out because I was really hoping that at least a few would respond back. Any suggestions as to what I can do?
