I am pregnant, my husband is Canadian and I am a citizen of the US...I want to know of my health care options to to deliver the baby in Canada.

Unfortunately none of the insurance companies cover the delivery. They most any will cover is up to 31 weeks for emergencies.

Ok. So my option is to apply for residency? How long does it take for health care to kick in?

You will have to find out in the province you are going to apply in.
